Looking Skyward

All enjoyed the ride to and from the York Soaring Club located between Arthur and Orangeville, viewing gliders soaring above the air field while enjoying our lunch, great facility and we were well received. John Ayerst brought along a water melon for our enjoyment. That was great John, he also won the fuel tax lotto ticket # 263432.

Wednesday ride was along Lake Simcoe from Lagoon City to Beaverton and a stop at Tim's the group was accompanied by two new sporty ladies on there sport rides, and meeting the green patriot at the coffee stop.

Storm Chasers

Sunday started with six bikes at Tim's put left with 3 storm chasers to Owen Sound. Was great to see Blanka who road in for coffee.
The brave storm chasers , looked for them all day put dry roads and didn't encounter the enlisted storm ! Lunch stop at Indian Falls and on the return ride stopped for ice cream at Walters Falls.Yes Barb got her Ice Cream.

Naked Beach

Wednesday /17 ride to Wasaga Beach well enjoyed  along Mount St Louie road , but disappointed by a naked beach the lack of people do to the cool temp. Stopped for something to eat at the Burger King (bank) on the beach front ,that's  what it took purchase it.

Dodgeing the Rain

 


Wednesday evening ride to the Penetang Dock by the way of North Bay it seemed ! great ride along the Penetanguishene Bay, with a food stop at the Dock.

Saturday ride to Midland and  The Georgian Bay Thunder Run  met with the North Star riders and road as a group. Ending at  Little Lake and took in The Georgian Bay Bike Week activities .

Wednesday ride was to the big chute for ice cream , then onto Port Severn for coffee

Saturday was a long ride to Killarney for the Herbert's fish and chips and than a ice cream stop at the French River Trading Post

New Liskead Weeken / Halliburton Look Out

 Members of the chapter attended the weaken rally in New Liskead for the cancer hospital , camping hoteling and RV -ing  weather hot hot hot good time had by all. While the Sunday ride went to the look out in the town of Halliburton a pack your lunch run. also enjoyed.

ON A Winng Streek

The last Wednesday ride in June  a no show of riders do to light shows before the departure time , put as the skies dried I ended going to bike night in Gravenhurst . meeting Ron Dumais there also. Having  won a previous 50/50 came away this time with two vouchers.
