Gravenhurst Bike Night

A mixture of cloudy skies and sunshine seemed to keep a few people away from the Gravenhurst Bike Night last Wednesday evening but Chapter 523 managed to  turn out a good number of members for the ride there. Good picture of some of our lady members that show our good side.

Motorcycle Cruise to Bermuda, St. Maarten, San Juan and Labadee

Starting out from Orillia on May 14, twelve of our Chapter members rode down to New Jersey accompanied by four other members of a "Bon Voyage" party. The twelve then boarded the Explorer of the Seas Cruise Ship bound for Bermuda, St. Maarten and San Juan to ride these Islands escorted by local motorcycle clubs and lead by ETA staff.
The whole experience of being together with such great people and riding in a tropical paradise was something that will stay with me always. A huge thank you to all those that participated including the "Bon Voyage" group of riders. Many more pictures can be found in the Photo Gallery under a special heading "Motorcycle Cruise 2013".  This album will also be updated as more pictures come in, so check it out later for more pictures.

Don't forget to check out all the other pictures in "Motorcycle Cruise 2013" in the Photo Gallery.  Also, here is a picture of the Bon Voyage group after leaving New Jersey, great weather.

Perfect weekend weather

A full weekend of activity starting early on Saturday with a ride to see our friends at Base Borden for their Spring Warm-Up and Benediction. It was nice to share some safety tips with our Chapter members and hopefully we all benefitted in some positive way. Thanks to the Pilgrim who lead the ride and provided us with a very pleasant ride following the event. Here are a couple of pictures of the line up to receive the Blessing from the Camp Padre.

The following day was our normal Sunday Ride Day, this time taking the country route through Phelpston, Creemore, and Flesherton to the Barr Head Grill in Markdale. From there, the group split up as some members were running short on time. The rest continued on north through the Beaver Valley to Thornton, Collingwood, Stayner and home. Great Day, Perfect Weather and Fantastic Company.
