Sunday April 25 ride

Only five member's showed up for last Sunday's ride probably due to a pretty dismal forecast of rain shower's. The doppler radar showed all the rain way to the south of our area so we enjoyed a very pleasant ride to Fenlon Falls for lunch. Sunday Ride April 18/2010

Today was a beautiful sunny Spring day for a ride, a little cool by the water though. Our ride took us through Wasaga Beach and on to Collingwood for a lunch stop. Eleven bikes with twelve members and guest. I have noticed more ladies on the rides so far this year which is a very welcome surprise that I hope continues. Gentlemen, I thank you for inviting them along, we just look so much better for their presence. I'm also pleased to say that we now have three lady rider's in our Chapter, ladies, please tell your friends about us. Here are a couple of pictures taken on today's ride to Collingwood. April 10-11/2010 Toronto Bike Show

Couldn't resist taking a picture of the bike I was riding when I was twenty one years old. A beautifully restored 1952 Vincent Comet 500 cc single. These masterpieces where the "Super Bikes" of the 40's and 50's. I wasn't quite sure what the young lady in the last picture was selling, maybe it was knee warmer's.

April 4 Breakfast and Ride.

Great turnout of twenty members and spouses for our monthly breakfast at the Picnic Restaurant with a short ride afterwards to Bracebridge. Coming back we stopped in at the Silver Eagle to see what was available. First official ride of the season will be this coming Sunday, April 11. We will meet at Arby's on Memorial Drive and Hwy.12 at 10.30 am and leave at 11.00 am SHARP. Please be on time with a full gas tank and an empty bladder. What a cute picture, thanks to Jim Wright.
